Florence Love Karsner, author, is a fifth generation Floridian of Scottish heritage who grew up in a rural village in the Florida Panhandle near Tallahassee. In the late 60’s, she married a Navy Ensign and followed him from Florida to the South Pacific.

In her travels she experienced different lands, peoples, and cultures all of which would forever influence her view of the world and provide ideas for writing. Several trips to Scotland inspired her first novels, the Highland Healer Series.

Her latest endeavor is a mystery series titled The Dr. Molly McCormick Series, which is set on an island off the coast of Florida during the Cuban Missile Crisis of 1962. This series will be launched in early 2019.

She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Jacksonville University, is a Registered Nurse, and a Certified Clinical Research Professional. When not being captured by her muse and engaged in writing, she enjoys creating pottery, playing golf and skeet shooting.

She lives with her husband, Garry, on Goodby’s Creek in Jacksonville, Florida, where she observes nature along the creek bank and gets ideas for new material for her next novel.
