“I will honour Christmas in my heart, and try to keep it all the year. I will live in the Past, the Present, and the Future. The Spirits of all Three shall strive within me. I will not shut out the lessons that they teach!”
This is one of my favorite quotes from Charles Dicken’s A Christmas Carol. The season wouldn’t be complete without me sitting in front of a warm fire, glued to this classic, munching on gingerbread and hot chocolate.
This is a season for giving, for spending time with friends and family. It’s also a time for remembering those who have touched our lives, helped us in ways we may not recognize until some future date.
As an author, I am privileged to touch the lives of my readers with my novels . . . and you touch mine with your support, your encouragement, and your reviews, for which I am grateful.
So, while I will be busy wrapping gifts and making goodies, I will take a cue from Mr. Dickens and live in the Past, the Present, and the Future. I personally know there are lessons in each.
May the Season bring you Good Tidings of Great Joy!
